Apparently you did, and so did our president. To the tune of allowing your poor fiscal decision to be recouped when the housing market crapped the bed. Now I paid, well, the bank paid for about $60,000 of my $136,000 college education. I have a pretty good job now, but was it worth $136k? No, I don't believe so. Dear Mr. President, My education costs did not translate into proper salary compensation following the reception of my degree. Please refinance my loans to the tune of, oh, I don't know, $20,000, and pay me back $10,000 of the $20,000 I shelled out while attending. I'll have that scholarship and grant money back as well while you're at it. That makes sense right?
No, it doesn't. I made the fiscal decision, AT 18 YEARS OLD, to take on these loans. I had no job, just a hope that my education would translate into a great job. It didn't. I got a "Good" job and can now pay back my loans. You're telling me that when a middle aged American makes a poor fiscal decision, they deserve to be bailed out on this? Give me a break. What else can the government give away? If you don't have a job, should you have an iPhone? Maybe, it just better be 5 years old. If you continue to have children, 4, 5, 6, and have never been married, have to contact 4 different men to make sure they each see their children, and have no clue what "9-5" stands for, it time to tie the tubes. STOP SHELLING MONEY OUT TO THESE PEOPLE! I'm not even going to get into the open door immigration policy we have at the moment, although Italy's policy seems appropriate...
What happened to people fearing the government rather than extorting it? Someone needs to step up and make people responsible for their decisions again. A certain socialist had 4 years to attempt this. Yeah, I believe in change as well, a change from him. He failed. Next please.
